How To Change The World Now

When I was a young man, I wanted to change the world.

I found it was difficult to change the world, so I tried to change my nation.

When I found I couldn't change the nation, I began to focus on my town. I couldn't change the town and as an older man, I tried to change my family.

Now, as an old man, I realize the only thing I can change is myself, and suddenly I realize that if long ago I had changed myself, I could have made an impact on my family. My family and I could have made an impact on our town. Their impact could have changed the nation and I could indeed have changed the world."

My Silent Inspiration

From this beautiful quote I realized that I have to first change myself before I busy myself to change the world. I always see big things, which is good but more often I missed what is more fundamental before making something big happen. And as always I easily see faults in others first and try to make it better instead of seeing my own and change it first.

Now I'm still a young bachelor, a loner. I can be happy go lucky. However one day as I see myself having a family of my own, I have to start changing myself from now. I can’t be too relaxed, care less and taking life for granted anymore. Everyone has only one life. And I want my future to be good. I want to have a good family, to be a good father a responsible husband, a respected person in my community. I want to contribute to the society. Therefore to make all those happen, hoping alone is not enough but I have to plan and start making it a reality. And the journey start with changing myself to suffice what it takes.

What I do today will determine my tomorrow. Keeping this blog is a way to help improve myself and as a starting point for changing to a better me. I hope by collecting inspirational words here, I will be inspired and could also inspire the readers here. After all, this is one way to train myself being kind to others by sharing information...sharing is caring!
